The right before & aftercare will only elevate your final look. To assist you with your permanent makeup tattoo procedure, we’ve curated a healing ritual that will help to ensure that you get the best results possible!
before
6 weeks BEFORE your appointment:
Please stop all retina, retinol, chemical peels, laser treatments, chemical exfoliants, hydroquinone, steroids etc.
3 Weeks BEFORE Your Appointment:
No facials and cease all Botox.
1 Week BEFORE Your Appointment:
Do not pick/tweeze/wax/thread/perform electrolysis
Do not tan or have a sunburned face
Do not tint your eyebrows.
Do not work out the day of the procedure
Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E (they are natural blood thinners)
24 Hours BEFORE Your Appointment:
In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit: Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo
Do not consume coffee the morning of your service
Do not take an Aspirin or Ibuprofen for pain relief (these also thin the blood)
AFTER
HELLO GORGEOUS! Now that you’re home…
Cleanse your brows with a gentle cleanser, and then apply the healing ointment provided (a pea-sized amount)
Continue repeating the steps morning and night for 5 to 7 days following the procedure
Please avoid the steam room, sauna, heavy sweating, and alcohol for the first 5 to 7 days after your appointment
BROW LAMINATION AFTER CARE
Do not apply makeup or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
Avoid swimming/sauna for 24 hours.
Keep eyebrows dry for 24 hours.
Use Lash + Brow Toxx conditioner daily.
Avoid the temptation to over touch the eyebrow area after treatment. Touching can add oils to the area (from fingers/hands) and could clog the open pores, resulting in spots.
Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat: the use of saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools.
Tweezing in between appointments is to be avoided to maintain the best long term shape.
Do not apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around the eyebrow area for 3 days before or after the treatment.
Do not use self-tanning products on the face for 48 hours either before
or after the treatment.
Tinting results will be darker and more defined immediatley after your
treatment and oil-based makeup remover can cause the tint to fade faster.

REMEMBER
It is possible to experience redness and swelling up to 48 hours after the procedure
The treated area will appear much darker and bold due to the oxidation process during the healing period
As the area heals it will become dry and itchy, please DO NOT pick it
As the pigment film starts to flake off DO NOT pick, scratch, itch or pull off any of the areas which are peeling
Picking and peeling pulls out pigment, and result in spots left without any pigment or in some cases scarring. DO NOT PICK
Allow your body to heal properly, follow these rituals and you will find yourself with natural looking results
You must allow the full healing time of 4 – 6 weeks to see the true color and result!

EXTRA TIPS
Sleep on a fresh pillowcase.
Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. DO NOT PICK. Picking can cause scarring or loss of color.
No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week.
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors.
Avoid face-down swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for the first 10 days,
Avoid topical makeup and sunscreen on the area.
DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area.
DON’T FORGET: Keep your showers short to reduce steam. Avoid all excess water and moisture as much as possible!
